Learning to adapt to this cultural nuance is essential for a smooth and positive experience.

Racial prejudice, while not pervasive, is a reality that cannot be ignored. I encountered instances of subtle racism, ranging from being overlooked in favour of other tourists to experiencing slightly more aggressive price negotiations. These instances, while unfortunate, were relatively infrequent.
