From bustling Beijing, a vibrant start,
The Forbidden City, a work of art.
Red walls encircling, a history untold,
Imperial grandeur, stories unfold.
The Temple of Heaven, a silent prayer,
Whispers of emperors, hanging in the air.
Hutongs winding, a maze of charm,
Old Beijing's spirit, safe from harm.

Then westward bound, to Xi'an I fly,
Terracotta Warriors, beneath the sky.
An army frozen, in silent might,
Guardians of emperors, bathed in pale light.
The ancient city walls, a journey back in time,
Echoes of dynasties, in rhythmic chime.
The Big Wild Goose Pagoda, a peaceful scene,
Buddhist serenity, ever serene.

Southward I journey, to Guilin's grace,
Li River meanders, at a gentle pace.
Karst mountains rising, in emerald hues,
A painter's canvas, nature's muse.
Bamboo rafts drifting, a tranquil sight,
Reflecting beauty, in morning's light.
Yangshuo's charm, a peaceful retreat,
Where rice paddies whisper, softly sweet.

In Shanghai's embrace, a modern scene,
Skyscrapers soaring, ever keen.
The Bund's elegance, a timeless view,
East meets West, forever new.
The Yuyuan Garden, a tranquil space,
A peaceful haven, in this bustling place.
Neon lights shimmering, a vibrant glow,
A city awakening, a dazzling show.

Further south I venture, to Yunnan's heart,
Lijiang's ancient town, a work of art.
Naxi architecture, a unique design,
Cobblestone streets, a captivating shine.
Tiger Leaping Gorge, a thrilling sight,
Jinsha River raging, with all its might.
The beauty of nature, wild and free,
A breathtaking landscape, for all to see.

To the west I travel, to Sichuan's land,
Where mountains rise high, a majestic stand.
Chengdu's pandas, playful and cute,
A national treasure, beyond dispute.
Leshan Giant Buddha, a colossal sight,
Carved in the cliffside, bathed in sunlight.
Spicy Sichuan cuisine, a fiery delight,
A culinary journey, both bold and bright.

In Tibet's highlands, a spiritual quest,
Lhasa's Potala Palace, put to the test.
Ancient monasteries, serene and grand,
Buddhist chants echoing, across the land.
Prayer flags fluttering, in the mountain breeze,
A tapestry of faith, amongst the trees.
The Himalayas rising, in majestic might,
A spiritual journey, bathed in sacred light.

From the Great Wall's grandeur, to the rice paddies' green,
A tapestry of beauty, a vibrant scene.
Ancient temples whispering, tales of old,
A journey through history, brave and bold.
The bustling cities, the tranquil towns,
A kaleidoscope of culture, in varying gowns.
The warmth of the people, kind and true,
A journey that touches, me and you.

Across the mountains, rivers, and plains,
China's vast beauty, forever remains.
