This is winter with both an urban and an outdoor personality. Start in Harbin, where architecture, food and the frozen season shape the city’s life. Then settle into Yabuli for several proper ski days, rather than a single rushed lesson. Off the slopes, make room for snow-covered forest scenery, warm meals and the pleasure of returning to a good room.

A private architecture-and-photography walk timed for the winter light, then a northern tasting dinner. Seasonal ice attractions can be added once their operating dates are confirmed.

Private ski coaching or guiding suited to your level, with equipment fitting and a realistic daily schedule. This is a lesson or resort-guiding arrangement, not a promise of untracked snow or exclusive slopes.

The warm-up ritual

A private hotpot or northern supper after the slopes, with a selected wine or tea pairing. Add a private spa treatment or couple’s celebration where the property offers it.

Days 1–3

Harbin

Walk the city through its streets, architecture and food. Reserve one evening for seasonal ice-and-light attractions when operating, and leave a day flexible for weather.

Day 4

The move to the mountains

Transfer to Yabuli, fit equipment and discuss your level with the ski team. Start gently rather than arriving exhausted and heading straight onto a difficult run.

Days 5–7

Yabuli, with time to settle in

Three days allow for coaching, independent resort skiing within your ability and a non-ski or lighter day. Pair the outdoor time with thoughtful dinners and rest.

Day 8

A comfortable return

Return to Harbin or the airport with a sensible buffer. Extra nights can extend skiing or add a slower final city stay.

Stay a little longer. Add two more ski nights or swap some slope time for a city-and-winter-landscape version. Changbai Mountain is a separately planned extension, not a hurried day trip.

Resort opening dates, snow, lifts, lesson availability and seasonal ice attractions are confirmed for your travel dates. Ski-related insurance and coverage for your planned activities should be checked before booking.
